Once your conservatory is complete, you’ll probably want to kit out the interior with flooring, blinds and furniture to add those special finishing touches that turn your conservatory in to a living space.
One of the most important decisions you need to make is the conservatory flooring. The most common floor coverings are tiles, laminate and carpet. If you intend installing electric underfloor heating, then tiles are most suitable for this purpose.
The next most important factor to consider is conservatory blinds. Installing blinds will help make your conservatory a more comfortable place to enjoy all year round. They improve insulation during cold spells and reduce glare and heat build up in bright and warm weather conditions.
If you intend using your conservatory as a general day to day living space, you’ll need somewhere to sit in comfort. For this purpose, there is a wide range of conservatory furniture products available on the market, including cane and rattan suites which can be purchased at very reasonable prices.
Whatever choices you make, it is important that you first consider how your conservatory will be used and for what purpose.
